Virginia Happy Trails Running Club

The Virginia Happy Trails Running Club is a diverse group of trail running enthusiasts based in northern Virginia and the metropolitan DC area. Members of all running abilities and ages come together to enjoy running on dirt trails, with many tackling ultramarathons while others simply enjoy the camaraderie. The club organizes regular Sunday runs in scenic locations such as Rock Creek Park trails in Washington, DC, and Great Falls National Park in Virginia, as well as runs of varying distances across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Additionally, the club partners with the DC Capital Striders for Wednesday night runs at Great Falls. Training run schedules are posted on the VHTRC website, inviting all to join in the trail running adventures. Happy Trails!
