Pflugerville Running Club hosts a free 5K run every Saturday morning at 8 am at Lake Pflugerville Park. The run begins near the flag pole by the park's concrete restrooms, located close to the expanded new parking lot. The scenic course features two water fountains, although it is recommended to bring your own water to stay hydrated. Participants are advised to protect themselves from the sun by wearing head cover and sunscreen.
