East York Runners

East York Runners is an inclusive and welcoming community running club based in Toronto's east end, open to people of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds. The club centers around its long-standing Saturday Social Run, which offers both 5k run/walk and 10k options, providing a friendly and relaxed environment for members to connect and enjoy running together weekly. In addition to the Saturday runs, members can participate in Track Tuesday sessions at East York Collegiate and Tempo Thursday runs at Memorial Park. While racing is optional, many members enjoy participating in various races and cheering on teammates. The club also hosts and engages in a variety of events, including time trials, community gatherings, and social activities, with recent events such as the Kringlwood Santa's Run, ON Squadrace, Riverdale Park Tracko Night, and the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Burrito Run. Newcomers are encouraged to join any Saturday run and reach out to club admins for more information, fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels welcome.
