The Land of Light 100k
Welcome to The Land of Light 100k, a one-of-a-kind race experience that takes runners on a challenging course spanning six different trail systems, covering a total of 25k running and 75k cycling. Starting at the Virgil Parris Preserve, participants will embark on a journey through various parcels, including Streaked Mt, Roberts Farm, Noyes Mountain, Shepard's Farm, Twin Bridges, and Hawk Mt. Relay teams can swap riders or runners at designated transition points, but not mid-course. All profits from this event are donated to TruStrength Tomorrow and Western Foothill Land Trust. Aid stations will be available at key locations, and racers are encouraged to carry their own cup or bottle for refills. The race also honors the Wabanaki people and their deep connection to the land. Join us for an awards party at 290 Maine Street in Norway to celebrate the podium finishers and enjoy some well-deserved post-race festivities. Don't miss this opportunity to challenge yourself while supporting local nonprofits and enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.
