Obx Turkey Trot 5k & Fun Run
Join us for the 16th Annual OBX Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Southern Shores, Dare! This beloved holiday tradition brings together families, friends, and community members for a morning of health, gratitude, and giving back. Whether you choose to run, jog, or walk the scenic 5K starting at 8:30 AM or participate in the Children's Fun Run at 9:30 AM, expect a festive atmosphere complete with delicious pancakes, exciting raffle prizes, and themed finisher medals. The top male and female finishers will receive Thanksgiving pies, and groups can compete for the 6-foot tall Largest Flock Trophy. Proceeds support OBX GO FAR, a local non-profit promoting children's health. Save the date for a day of community spirit and fun!
