Mchenry Lakefront 5k & Kids Fun Run
Join us on Saturday, July 12, 2025, for the exhilarating Mchenry Lakefront 5k & Kids Fun Run in the picturesque setting of McHenry! Lace up and tackle the scenic USATF certified 5K course starting at Petersen Park Beach, weaving through the charming Lakeland Park neighborhood and Prairie Trail. Little ones can dash in the 50-meter sprint for ages 3-5 or sprint in the 100-meter for ages 6-8, with every participant earning a medal. Be part of the excitement with top male and female finisher awards and age group medals. Check-in at 7:00 am, and grab your BIB and shirt at McHenry Recreation Center. Come together for a day of fitness, community, and family fun!
