Geaux Wild Ultra

Join us for the exciting Geaux Wild Ultra, now in its second year with new swag! The event takes place at Lake Bistineau State Park, offering stunning views and top-notch recreational facilities, including hiking and biking trails, camping, cabins, and excellent fishing opportunities. The 10-mile loop course showcases classic Louisiana State Park trail terrain, featuring flat paths with muddy sections, tree roots, and natural trail surfaces. With two aid stations providing hot food, snacks, water, ice, and electrolytes, participants can enjoy a well-supported race experience. Starting at 6 am for the 50-miler and 7 am for the 50k, with generous cutoff times, runners can challenge themselves amidst the park's historical backdrop dating back over 200 years. Finishers will receive a medal, and top male and female finishers on each distance will be awarded custom medals. Don't miss out on the post-race feast and vegan options available, along with discounts for military personnel, donors, and first responders.
