Taking place on August 15, 2026, this premier trail running event offers multiple race distances to suit every level, including an ultra-challenging 53K, intermediate 9.5-mile and 4.75-mile out-and-back courses along the historic Rim Trail (T105), and a fun 1-mile Kid’s Dash designed for children 13 and under and families. The Rim Trail, New Mexico’s first National Recreation Trail, winds through lush fir, pine, and quaking aspen forests, providing stunning panoramic views of the Tularosa Basin over 4,000 feet below. The 53K distance features a unique “lollipop” loop near the summit for added elevation and spectacular scenery. All races start and finish at the Pavilion in Zenith Park, Cloudcroft.
