Can The Bird 5k Turkey Trot
Join us for the 5th annual Can The Bird 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day in Alexandria, Fairfax! Lace up your running shoes and kick off the holiday with a scenic run around the beautiful Kingstowne area and its picturesque lake. Participants of all ages are welcome to run, jog, or stroll through the course, starting at 8:00 am from the Walmart parking lot at 5885 Kingstowne Boulevard. Simply bring a canned food item to donate and enjoy various registration options, including early bird rates and discounts for military personnel and younger runners. All participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt, and top finishers in different categories, including runners with dogs and strollers, will be awarded.
