Buzzard Day

The Buzzard Day Trail Race, scheduled for March 15, 2025, offers trail runners a challenging and exhilarating experience at Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation. Featuring a marked course with significant climbs on each 25k loop, participants will navigate roots, rocks, and mud, embodying the true spirit of trail running. The event includes 100k, 50k, and 25k distances, each with staggered start times—5:00 AM for 100k, 7:00 AM for 50k, and 8:30 AM for 25k—to minimize congestion while trails remain open to the public. The race starts at Ledge Lake, 1151 Ledge Road, Hinckley, and welcomes hikers and well-behaved pets on leashes for a community-friendly atmosphere. Participants and their supporters can enjoy camping facilities provided by the Brooklyn Exchange Club, who generously host the event at their BEC Cabin and bunkhouse throughout the weekend, with proceeds supporting Run To Share’s mission to aid those in need locally without judgment.
